Significant National Weather:

West: Â*
A cold high pressure area will keep most of the region dry. Behind a cold front the Four Corners area will get snow and New Mexico and Colorado will see heavy snow. Some areas could receive up to 8 inches of new snow.
Midwest:
A cold front will produce a wintery mix of rain and snow across the region from the Southern Plains to the Great Lakes and Ohio Valley. Little in the way of accumulation is expected.
Northeast:
Precipitation will gradually spread across the region today. Frontal systems will bring snow to northern Pennsylvania, New York and New England by tonight. The Mid-Atlantic will get rain with some areas receiving as much as 1 inch today. Temperatures will be mild, as much as 15 degrees above average.
South:
Snow will move out of the Rockies into western Texas and Oklahoma. A developing frontal system will produce widespread precipitation across the Southeast. This will include thunderstorms and possible severe thunderstorms from the Central Gulf Coast states to the Southern Appalachians. Some areas will receive more than 1 inch of precipitation today. Temperatures will be unseasonably warm.
