South
Severe Thunderstorms are possible across Texas, Oklahoma and western northern Arkansas.Â*Â* The potential exists for large hail, damaging winds and heavy rain.Â* Critical fire weather conditions and Red Flag Warnings continue for Texas.
Northeast
Rain showers will occur from western New York down through the Middle Atlantic States.Â* New England should remain dry throughout the day.
Midwest
Severe thunderstorms are possible from northeast Oklahoma across Missouri to Indiana; some thunderstorms may contain damaging winds and hail.Â* Rain and snow will fall across parts of the Dakotas and northern Wisconsin.Â* Flash flooding and/or river flooding is forecast for portions of southern Illinois, southwest Indiana, Ohio, mid-Mississippi and lower Missouri river basins.Â*
West
Rain and snow will fall across portions of Montana and northern Wyoming.Â* Critical fire weather conditions exist for portions of New Mexico and Colorado.Â* Red Flag Warnings have been issued for New Mexico, Colorado and Arizona.

A low pressure area located about 450 miles north-northeast of San Juan Puerto Rico is producing poorly organized shower and thunderstorm activity.Â*Â* Slow development of this system is possible during the next couple of days as it moves northwestward to northward at about 10 mph during the next day or two.Â* There is a low chance (10 percent) of this system developing into a subtropical or tropical cyclone during the next 48 hours.Â*Â*(NOAA, NWS, NHC, CPHC JTWC)

PK Complex Fire (4 combined fires) - Palo Pinto, Young and Stephens counties, TX
FMAG-2888, FMAG-2893 and FMAG-2895 approved.
147,973 acres burned; 25-50% contained.
Over 600 homes are threatened and 160 have been destroyed.Â*
Fire activity has died down with the rise in relative humidity values and favorable wind conditions; 30% chance of rain in the area tonight.
Wildcat Fire (Coke and Tom Green Counties, TX)
FMAG-2892 approved on April 15, 2011.
159,308 acres burned; 75% contained.
All evacuations have been lifted for this area.
Colorado
Myers Ranch Wildfire (Jefferson County, CO)
A wind driven grass fire in steep and rocky terrain is complicated by winds 25-35 mph gusting to 50 mph.
Fire has burned 40 acres; 20% contained
Evacuation for 80 homes remains in place
Evacuated residents were directed to Conifer High School.
Single engine air tanker and one helicopter are providing air support.
Eight fire agencies and 50 firefighters are on scene.
A firefighting team from Arizona will respond Friday to assist.
No requests for state/federal assistance.
