Significant National Weather West: Regional snow accumulations will range from an inch or two in Seattle and Portland to a few feet in higher elevations across southern Washington, Oregon, northern California and eastward to the Rockies. South: Scattered thunderstorms, possibly severe, are forecast this afternoon and evening in the humid air mass across eastern Oklahoma, northeast Texas, Louisiana and Arkansas. The only other precipitation in the region will be possible showers in eastern Florida. Northeast: Rain is likely across northern Pennsylvania and Upstate New York and a wintry mix is expected across northern New England.
